The Passenger [Professione: Reporter] Michelangelo Antonioni

Jack Nicholson plays a journalist who switches identities with a dead man. Much like The Adventure, this is a film with touches of suspense, but one that deals with identity - the great literary topic of the last century. The director resolves to find a visual translation for this problem, in line with the nouveau roman. Antonioni, who co-wrote the script, created a film where the subject fades into the landscape: an objectified man in a world of objects.
