Premiered at the Locarno International Film Festival (2011), The Lord Worked Wonders in Me marks Albert Serra’s return to the world of his second feature length film, Honor of the Knights, with his protagonists and usual collaborators travelling to La Mancha to face the real contexts of Don Quixote’s life, thus building a work that reflects on cinema and its creative processes from the filmmaker’s singular formal perspective.
